What are Interdigitated Electrodes?

Interdigitated electrodes consist of multiple electrode traces, spaced by a small gap. This electrode geometry can enable more sensitive measurements and devices - they can be the platform on which you build new devices and sensors.
Our interdigitated electrodes are made of noble metals like gold on substrates including flexible plastic and glass. The electrode size, spacing, and geometries can be customized with line widths and spacing down to 10 μm.
